Cairo-Durham CSD residents approved their Capital Building Project on December 11 by a vote of 284 to 263. The $28.9 million project will create 21st-century classrooms in the High School for Science, Technology, and the Arts; a new media center; community meeting rooms; and adult learning spaces. Other upgrades will enhance security, infrastructure and energy efficiency.
