A. Patricia Hughes

Pat Hughes, an Associate, serves as Director of Business Development and Marketing at Mosaic Associates Architects, where she has been a key member of the firm since 2018.

With more than 20 years of experience marketing professional services, she leads Mosaic’s efforts to secure new work, develop and implement strategic marketing plans, and elevate the firm’s brand through advertising, website, and social media initiatives. Pat also plays a central role in expanding Mosaic’s visibility in the higher education market while reinforcing its leadership in the design of K-12 learning environments.

Prior to joining Mosaic, Pat was Director of Marketing & Communications for the New York State Sheriffs’ Association for 7 years. She also spent 12 years with EYP AE (now part of Stantec), where she was a Senior Associate managing marketing for the Albany office and supporting the college and university, federal, and historic preservation sectors. Pat first collaborated with Mosaic as a consultant in 2009.

Deeply engaged in both professional and community initiatives, Pat serves on the board of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce, where she co-chairs the Membership Committee, and is the president of Team Mosaic Toastmasters, an in-house club she helped establish. She leads Mosaic’s CANstruction fundraising efforts and serves as team captain for our CDPHP Workforce Challenge team. A past president of the SMPS Upstate New York Chapter, Pat holds a B.S. in Magazine Journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and is a graduate of the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Institute. She resides in East Greenbush, New York with her husband Brian. They love spending time with their two adult children, Abby and Ethan.
