Theresa F. Moroukian

Theresa Moroukian is a Principal and Director of Finance and Human Resources at Mosaic Associates Architects, where she has been a cornerstone of the firm’s business practice since joining in 1992. Theresa has been instrumental in shaping the firm’s policies related to staff development, HR practices, and team culture, helping to strengthen organizational performance and support our long-term growth.

Theresa’s promotion to Principal in 2019 was especially notable, as she became the first non-licensed professional at Mosaic to reach this level of ownership and leadership. Her advancement required the firm to transition to a design professional corporation. Her achievement reflects her enduring leadership and the vital role she has played in building Mosaic’s culture and operational foundation.

Active in the community and profession, Theresa is a graduate of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Institute and a past board member of both the Chamber and the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region. She remains engaged with the Chamber, co-chairing the planning committee for its Annual Golf Classic, and is a recipient of the YWCA Resourceful Women award. She is also a member of the Society for Design Administration and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and supports the firm’s fundraising efforts for CANstruction benefiting the Food Pantries for the Capital District.

Earlier in her career, Theresa held positions with Barclay Home Products and Clemente Latham Concrete Corp. She holds an A.A.S. in Accounting and Business Management from Hudson Valley Community College.
