Callie Gaspary
Callie Gaspary, AIA, ALEP, a Principal at Mosaic Associates Architects, joined the firm in 2002 as an Intern Architect.
An expert in the design of educational facilities, Callie has built her career around creating innovative, high-performing learning environments. Her experience spans projects of all scales, from complex renovations to major new construction, including the $40 million, 116,000-square-foot Science Center at Hudson Valley Community College, where she served as project manager.
Callie is an Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP)—considered the highest qualification in educational facility planning—and established Mosaic’s Educational Facility Planning group. She served on the international ALEP Commission of the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) for 4 years and is a past president of both the A4LE New York Chapter and the A4LE Northeast Region.
Callie also leads the firm’s higher education practice and serves as Principal-in-Charge for several of the firm’s longest-standing PK-12 clients, including Shenendehowa Central School District and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District. In addition to her project leadership, she plays a key role in guiding the firm’s staff development and marketing initiatives and is deeply committed to fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented culture at Mosaic.
A registered architect and member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Gaspary is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with bachelor’s degrees in Architecture and Building Sciences. She is also a graduate of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Institute and holds a NYSERDA Certificate in High Performance School Design.
Callie is passionate about mentoring future designers and frequently shares her expertise through career days, student programs, and presentations. Within the community, she supports the City Mission of Schenectady’s Weekend Backpack Program, participates in CANstruction for the Food Pantries for the Capital District, and helps lead the firm’s YWCA Adopt-A-Family. initiative each holiday season.
Callie and her husband, Mosaic Principal Matt Gaspary, reside in Niskayuna, New York and stay actively involved in the sports and activities of their sons: Ty, Sam, and Axl.
